This Belgian beer is an authentic Abbey beer brewed to the exacting standards set up by Leffe’s abbey Father Abbot Nys and master brewer Albert Lootvoet when the brewing tradition of Leffe began again in the 1950s. Please note it is a perfect aperitif and also goes particularly well with red meat and strong cheeses. Abbaye de Leffe in Dinant was founded in the 12th century and, like most abbeys and churches, they built a brewery to serve drinks to parishioners and pilgrims.
