Gift Voucher Sales for Pub Accommodation up 50%

Consumers are buying into pub accommodation. Stay In A Pub, the only pub accommodation website has seen a 50% increase in voucher sales over the Christmas period. The average spend has been £127 per gift with some purchasers spending £400-£500.

With the industry heavily investing in rooms this is fast becoming an important third income stream. Stay In A Pub now lists over 1,500 bookable pubs with accommodation and Fullers and Innkeepers Lodge (MAB) are adding to the portfolio by joining us as members.

The company has also raised an additional £100K from its existing shareholders to grow traffic to the website which already attracts 60,000 users during the summer of which 14% is international traffic. Why would they not want to stay in a pub!

Paul Nunny, founder of Stay In A Pub, said “We have received great support from all the major players in the industry and now our shareholders have committed extra funding to support the drive to make pub accommodation easy to book. We now list approximately 20% of all pubs with accommodation in the UK and are No 1 on Google searches for many key terms. It looks like pub accommodation will be a very important growth sector for the industry in 2024
